Scott Peterson was found guilty today for 1st Degree Murder of his wife Laci and 2nd Degree Murder for his son Connor. It makes my faith in the judical system go up a bit. Because we all know that it hasn't always worked in the past. I hope now that Laci and Connor's memory can live on in peace knowing that justice has been served for their deaths! It's such a shame that one man's selfishness can come down to ending two precious lives. I hope he does get the death penalty. Laci and Connor got the death penalty...so should he!!!

I don't think he should get the death penalty. What he did to his wife and child was horrible and it was cheap! He is a cheap, not with money but emotion, invidual and if he is given the death penalty it'll be lethal injection. He'll be injected with a drug and he'll die. Cheap, easy and painless. Now life in prison means he'll sit in jail the REST of his life. He'll never get to go golfing or boating or anything and he'll have to deal with other inmates who think he's the scum they scrape off scum. Considering that a priest who molested children here in Massachusetts was murdered in jail and Jeffrey Dommer was murdered as well. It's this mob mentality of justice that could hurt Peterson in jail more then some exicutioner sticking a needle in his arm and him expiring in mere moments. Plus,in California where the case was tired in 30 years of having the death penalty they've exicuted ONE man. That's not right. What's the point of having the death penalty if they're not going to use it. To me life in prison with no parole is a far better punishment for this person.
