Busy Little Bee

So my daddy informed me that I haven't update in a week.  "Sorry 'bout that!"

I have just been busy.  Grocery shopping, washing clothes, cleaning house, raising children, going to church, and just spending time with family have taken my time.  And if some thing has to go, well it's the computer and all that goes with it.  But I seem to have some time for the moment as Jon Kent is sleeping and Zoey is in her bouncey seat watching me work on the computer.

Not to mention I still haven't figured out my picture problems.  And no I haven't called Members Service although I did try to "chat" with a tech person on the computer and when I started I was #54 in line and then 30 minutes later I was #34.  So I gave up.  And for the moment I don't have 30 or 45 minutes to chat with someone on the phone.  So I will just go pictureless until I get more time.

This week is race weekend here in T'dega.  Which means tons and tons of race fans in Wal-Mart.  Thankfully, our groceries have been purchased so we are just going to lay low for the rest of the week and weekend.  It's supposed to rain this weekend too, so that could mean the race will end up being on Monday.  That should be interesting viewing come Sunday afternoon...  Mad, drunk, soaked, race fans...  <giggles>  Maybe the rain will hold off long enough to have it.  I enjoy watching the race when it's here in Talladega.  But on TV.  Never actually been to one...  Can you believe that!?!?!  Lived here all my life and never been to a Sunday race.  Went to a time trial once when I was like 7 years old.  Anyway, go #24!! My husband will roll his eyes when he reads that... <Sticks out tongue>  Yeah, I am one MATURE 22 year old!

Well, I guess I better get going.  I just mopped the kitchen floor so I need to go put all the chairs down off the table before Jon Kent wakes up from his slumber.

OH!  Since I probably won't have another journal entry in before tomorrow...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my Mommy!!!  She will be...errrr....well, she will just be!!  Happy Birthday Momma!!!!!

UGGGHHHH!!!!!!

I have been TRYING for the past 2 or 3 days to load some pictures into my journal.  But for whatever reason, AOL is being a pain in my booty  and not letting me.  Everytime I try to load them AOL freezes and I have to reboot only to still not be able to load them...UGH!!!!!  What am I paying for here????

So I guess I will just update yall without the pictures.  <mumbles>

Easter went very well.  We went to church in the morning, lunch with Kent's family, Easter egg hunt after lunch (we found 3 of the 5 or 6 money eggs...woohoo!!!), then church that evening.  Also, Jon Kent and Zoey got their baskets in the afternoon after Kent got off of work.  Zoey found her toes Sunday too.  But her legs are so fat and chunky that she can't get her toes into her mouth...although she tries...(I have a picture to prove it...but we all know how that story ends...).  Also, Easter last year was the day we found out we were pregnant with Zoey.  I would like to happily announce that I am NOT pregnant this year...woohoo...which sets a record of going the longest without being pregnant in over 2 years.  WOOHOO!!  Maybe I will actually be able to enjoy my summer baby belly free!!!

Well, that's all for now I guess.  I really do wish I could show yall my pictures.  I will have to continue trying to fix whatever is broken....  Until then...

Happy Early Easter

Tomorrow is Easter and that means it will be a fairly busy day here, so I thought I would update tonight and let yall know what the plans are for us for Easter Sunday.

Kent unfortunately has to work from 7:30am-4pm.  So he will miss out on basically everything.  The kids and I will be getting up and going to church.  Then to an O_________ family function for lunch followed by an Easter egg hunt.  After that Kent will be getting off of work.  We will then go back to church and then out to eat afterwards.  Depending on when we get home from the family thing, Jon Kent and Zoey will get their Easter baskets.  I wanted Kent to be a part of it so we will wait until he gets off of work.  I hope to take some pictures of the kids in their outfits, but no promises as I will be getting two youngins ready on my own in the morning and then myself on top of that.

Anyway, I hope everyone has a great day tomorrow.  Remember the real reason we celebrate Easter...it's not for the eggs or the chocolate bunnies.  It's because Jesus died on the cross and on the 3rd day rose from the dead to save us from our sins!

Have a great one!!

Zoey's First Spoon Feeding

Zoey had her first taste of cereal today.  She did fair I suppose.  Most of it ended up on her bib.  But she started getting the hang of it towards the end...sorta.  Here are some pictures of her experience,  Enjoy!!!

By the way, her doctor's appointment went well.  She weighs 17lbs 10ozs (I was close with 18 pounds!).  She is 25 1/4 inches long.  She had to have 4 shots, but she seems to have handled them pretty well.  Just slightly cranky.  But who could really blame her!?!?

Does anyone still read???

Time really just gets away from me.  I can't believe it's been over a week since I posted!  I guess I have just been busy.  Since Kent is on days now, my days are spent chasing Jon Kent around and feeding Zoey.  And let's not forget nap time...whew.  That's a job in and of it's self!  But thankfully I get about 15-30 minutes a day where both of the kids are down at the same time.  Let's me find my sanity...or at least unload the dishwasher...

Kent and I have started working out together again.  It's so great to leave the kids with a family member for 45 minutes to an hour 3 days a week and just spend some time together.  Even though most of that time for me is convincing myself to just go one more mile.  But it's still nice to have that time away and just take some time to take care of myself.  Which is paying off.  My arms are getting toned again and I can tell I have lost some inches in my waist.  I'm hoping by Memorial Day to be down to my goal weight and dress size.  I have about 11 pounds more to go and 2 dress sizes.  I have lost almost 40 pounds so far since the first of the year.  Which most of that is from breastfeeding.  My little porker really takes it off!

Speaking of Zoey, she has a doctor's appointment tomorrow.  Her 4 month check up.  I'm anxious to see how much she weighs.  I am guessing 18 pounds.  And that is allllll breastmilk!!  :::beams with pride::::  I do hope we can start her on some foods though.  Since she won't take a bottle, I am hoping giving her some solids will space the nursing sessions out some.  She goes right now about every 3 hours and that is on a good day.  A lot of days it's 2 hours.  But she does sooo well at night.  Sleeping 6-8 hours.

Jon Kent on the other hand...  We started making him sleep in his bed and he is none too happy about it.  But we are sticking to it this time.  It's time to sleep with my husband again and ONLY my husband!  But it's not going so well because Jon Kent has a cold or allergies.  Not really sure which at the moment.  I am thinking allergies because he is just coughing and sneezing.  No other symptoms besides those.  We are giving him some medicine that should have it under control in the next day or so.

Well, I guess that is about it for me.  I need to go and make out a "To Do List" for the next two days.  I am having a Sunday School party at my house Tuesday night and I need to clean this house up.  Talk with yall later!

Spring Forward

Don't forget to turn your clocks forward one hour tonight!!!

I honestly LOVE when we change the time during the Spring.  But I HATE losing that hour!  And crazy has it may be...I can really feel it when I get up in the morning after losing that hour.  But like I said, I love when the time changes.  The days are longer the weather seems to get warmer and you can tell that summer is just around the corner!  Woohoo!!

My Kelly's Kids party went fairly well.  I'm still waiting on one more order (should get it tomorrow).  But today I did $530 in sales.  Not too shabby!  That takes me to about $1700 in sales for 3 parties.  I think I might have at least two more parties in the works for late April.  We will see.  I am hoping to get to the $3000 goal.  It stinks that I came into the game late in the season.  But if I can get to that goal then that would be pretty amazing since I only had two months instead of five to do it.  I'll keep yall updated!  By the way, if you want to place an order with Kelly's Kids just let me know and I would be happy to help you out with it.  Here is the link to the site: Kelly's Kids, Kid's Clothes Designed to Mix, Match & Coordinate.

Well, I am off to look at OLDNAVY.com.  I'm looking for some spring stuff!  Talk with yall later!!
