I'm tired!

Whew, I am sooo tired.  It took all I had to give Jon Kent a bath tonight.  I don't know what is going on.  Whether it's the baby or getting a cold or what.  But whatever it is, it's kicking my butt!  I think the whole "can't catch a good breath thing" during pregnacy is already started.  And I am only 9 weeks!!  What is all that about!?!?!  Maybe it's just a cold, I don't know.  I just wish I could get a deep breath in every now and again.  Oh well.

Last night or early this morning a line of severe thunderstorms came through.  They woke me up and then about 10 minutes later they woke Jon Kent up.  I would get him back to sleep and then a HUGE clap of thunder would happen and his eyes would pop back open.  I did that from like 5:30-7am.  It was NO fun!  And the power also went out.  It stayed out for like 3 hours.  Which that was fun...trying to heat a bottle up with some bath water.  LOL.  For the rest of the day it just rained off and on.  It cooled down quite a bit too.

Tomorrow is the BIG race at the Superspeed Way.  This year my road (which leads to the track) has been extra busy.  I see RVs and trucks going up and down the road all day and night.  I like watching some of the people that come to town.  I am a people watcher, so I find it entertaining.  Kent doesn't care a thing for it.  I'm weird like that I guess!

Well, I am gone.  Going to watch the news and then grab and book and head to bed to read and hopefully drift off into dream land!!  I'll talk with yall later!!

My doctor visit today

I went to see the doctor today.  Everything with me was fine, I even lost a pound.  So anyways, the doctor comes in and gets the doppler out to try and find a heartbeat.  Well, he couldn't find one.  Which I knew would happen because I am only 9 weeks along.  So anyway, he sends me for an ultrasound because he said with me having two miscarriages already that for my peace of mind I needed to know what was going on.  So we go in the waiting room for the ultrasound and we wait, and we wait, and we wait.  Finally they call us back there and the lady has the screen turned away from me so I can't see anything just in case it was bad news.  As soon as she put the "thing" (I don't know what it is called) on my stomach she said, "Well there's that baby!"  Woohoo!  The heartbeat was 176bpm.  Which is way faster than Jon Kent's ever was.  So anyway, she lets me see the baby and that thing was wiggling all over the place.  Kent said it looked like he was looking at a pinball machine because the baby was just everywhere!  So everything is checking out just fine.  I was measuring right where I was supposed to be.  In fact the ultrasound said my due date according to the baby's measurements was 11/29/05 instead of 11/30/05.  It's only a day but I was thinking they were off by atleast a week.  I figured my due date would have been moved back to December sometime.  Anyway, there's the update!  I'll talk with yall later!

Doctor Visit

Kent and I took Jon Kent to the doctor.  Jon Kent was doing fine all the way up until the doctor came in.  He pitched a fit!  The doctor looked him over and this is the results:  he has a double ear infection, head cold, and chest cold.  And the doctor said that he thought he heard something in JK's right lung.  He gave us a bunch of medicine to give him.  Poor baby.  Atleast it all tastes good.  We go back in 2 weeks to make sure that everything is cleared up.  Kent decided to stay home with us tonight.  Since Jon Kent is sick and now has decided to start throwing up as well.  I LOVE having Kent home with us.  For whatever reason, it just seems cozier (sp?) when he is home.  Plus, I just love him soooo much that I like him being home with us.  Anyway, I have a funny story to share, but don't let Jon Kent know that I told yall. <wink, wink>  Kent was changing Jon Kent's diaper this afternoon.  I was in the bedroom.  All of a sudden I hear Kent say, "oh crap".  I just thought that Jon Kent had put his foot into his poop.  Then Kent yells, "Make Jon Kent a bath".  LOL.  So I go into the bathroom and fix Jon Kent's bath up.  Then go into JK's room where Kent was changing his diaper.  Somehow, and Kent and I have yet to figure it out...Jon Kent got poop all over the side of his head.  Kent said he doesn't know how it got there and he didn't see it when JK laid his head all in it.  Kent said that Jon Kent was just laying there like nothing was wrong.  Let me tell yall...it was the grossest thing yet that I have experienced with Jon Kent.  I was gagging and trying my best to just not throw up all over the place.  Anyway, we got it all cleaned up and Jon Kent got an extra bath for the day.  Which he doesn't mind.  His new nickname is "Poopiehead".  LOL.  Something to tell the grandkids about some day...  Well, that is all for us.  I'll talk with yall later!

My little man is sick =(

My poor little man is sick.  He has been *trying* to get a cold for a few days now.  And yesterday I thought he was getting better, but this morning he woke up coughing and coughing.  I can tell that it has now gone down into his chest.  Which scares me because he whizzes and that to me just doesn't sound good.  He is also sneezing and has a stuffy nose.  But it's not so stuffy as to where I can get that *snot sucker* thing in there and get it out.  He is also running a fever of 100.  If he isn't better by morning, I am calling the doctor and getting an appointment for tomorrow.  I am telling ya, this is the worst feeling in the world.  Too see your child sick and there isn't much you can do for them.  And another thing, whatever Jon Kent has I seem to be getting.  If it means though that he is getting *rid* of it and I am getting it then by all means I will gladly take it all as long as it will make him better.  The little man is laying in the floor watching Baby Einstein.  Which is really all he wants to do.  He doesn't want to play or anything.  Just lay there.  Anyway, I hope he feels better soon.  If yall could, please pray for him to get better.  I'll talk with yall later.

I've got pictures!!!

Today was a pretty good day.  I actually felt a lot better today.  And I even washed some clothes.  Woohoo!!  I am hoping the medicine that I am taking (progesterone) isn't affecting me as much as it used to.  From what I can remember (I know it wasn't long ago) I started feeling better a few weeks before stopping the medicine.  So hopefully this will be the norm for me from now on.

Anybody watch American Idiol tonight?  It was the result show.  Can I say, GO BO!!!  He's a Bama boy so he has to win!!!  But that is just my opinion!  I have yet to vote though.  By the time the show goes off it's time for Jon Kent's bath and then bottle and bed.  So by the time I am through with him, I forget to vote.  Oh well!

Kent is off tomorrow and Friday!  YESSSSS!!!  I sooo look forward to his days off.  I love, love, love having him home with me.  He is just the bestest (ok, I haven't used that word since Jr. High) husband in the world!!  He's probably thinking, "what does she want now???"  LOL.  My birthday IS coming up and OH so is Mother's Day...since I am a mommy now.  Woohoo!!  Maybe I'll rack up this year!!  <wink, wink>

Well, that is all for tonight.  Enjoy the pictures!!

Did you miss me?

Whew, it's been awhile!!  Sorry 'bout the lack of updates.  There really isn't much to update on.  Just my usual days...playing with Jon Kent, cleaning Jon Kent, feeding Jon Kent, loving Jon Kent, etc. etc.  Oh and spending time with Kent as well.  Can't forget him!

Kent and I went out Friday night for dinner and a movie.  We watched "The Pacifier".  It was a really good and funny movie.  We really had a good time.  Jon Kent stayed at Kent's parent's house Friday night.  They live just up the road from us.  They said he did pretty good for them.  Didn't sleep all that great for them (and hasn't since he's been home).

I do believe my little man is teething.  Which is a whole boat load of fun.  He has been dooling for awhile now, but now he is so cranky and is constantly chewing on something.  I put some gel in his mouth and gave him some teething tablets.  It seems to be working for the most part, but he still wakes up in the middle of the night screaming.  I do feel bad for the little man.  Hopefully his little teeth will come in soon.

Kent goes into work in about an hour and Jon Kent and I are going to my parent's.  My momma is cooking me supper and I guess we will just sit around and watch some T.V.  The usual stuff.

Well, there you have it...an update.  Maybe it won't take me so long next time to get an entry in!  Talk with yall later!

These are pictures that I have taken randomly and just never got the chance to download them.  They really serve no purpose other than I was probably bored.  Anyway, yall enjoy!

If only I could...

Yall KNOW yall love my picture.  Pretty graphic huh!?!?!  I debated whether or not to even put it up there, but figured "oh why not"!!?!?!?  ANYWHO, I haven't been doing what's in my picture.  Oh how I wish I could though.  I think I would feel a 100% better.  It's sad when you actually WANT to throw up.  I'll manage.  Millions of women have done this before.  It's part of the process.  ::Giving myself a pep talk::

So what have I been up to...  Nothing really.  I didn't plant any flowers.  Which usually by now I have done it.  HOPEFULLY sometime this week I will get them put in.  If not, there is always next week!!  We all went to church this morning.  Jon Kent did pretty good in the nursery.  Or atleast that is what the lady told us.  He seemed happy when we went to pick him up.

Speaking of Jon Kent, he is with Kent's parents tonight.  He is going to their church.  Hopefully, he will be good for them.  They are going to drop him off when they get out of church.

Well, that is all from my neck of the woods...  I'll talk with yall later!!

*~*Update*~*

I would have updated earlier, but quite frankly I just don't have the energy to do much these days.  It's all I can do to just get up in the mornings.  I swear progesterone pills are from Satan.  It's just a cruel, cruel medicine.  It started with my being dizzy, which I could deal with because it would go away eventually.  Now we are on to the headaches that last ALL day long.  Then last night the *morning* sickness started.  You know, where your mouth starts to water and your stomach begins to roll.  I believe that has to be one of the worst feelings in the world.  Only 7 more weeks, only 7 more weeks...  Maybe if I keep telling myself that, I will start to believe it.  *sigh*

I cleaned the house today.  Because ::gasp:: I haven't really cleaned in over a week.  Thankfully I got all my spring cleaning done before I started the progesterone.  So my house wasn't THAT messy.  It was still driving me crazy.  So I got that done today.  Kent cut the grass and Jon Kent just laid in various positions and played with various toys while I got a few things done around the house.  Kent and Jon Kent are now both up at Granny's.  They are all sitting on the porch.  I just don't feel like walking the whole 50 feet to their house.

Jon Kent is spending the night with my parent's tomorrow night.  Kent and I need some much needed time together.  I am thinking McDonald's and Blockbuster.  Why McDonald's you may ask...  Well, I just have a craving for it.  While I am pregnant is really the only time I eat there, unless I want some fries.  Everyone knows Micky D's has the best fries!!  Ummm fries...  :::yells at Kent to go get me some fries:::  NAH...I'll save it for tomorrow night.

I am pretty proud of myself this pregnancy.  I am not obsessing over everything like I did last time.  I am just trying to relax and actually enjoy it this go around.  I am walking 2 miles 5 times a week which should help me keep my weight down.  I started out roughly 10 pounds heavier this pregnancy than I did the last one.  So I need to really watch what I do this time.  I'm not drinking water like I should.  Only for the fact that I hate our city's water.  It's taste leady (if that is even a word) to me.  So I try to only drink bottled water.  And I haven't been to Wal-Mart lately to really get any water or much of anything else for that matter.  Well, I did get some shampoo and conditioner...which ended up making me gag everything I used it.  I guess I will have to get something else.  It's amazing how much a pregnancy affects your whole system.

Let's see, what else is going on in my world.  Oh, I plan on planting some flowers soon.  Not that, that is very exciting...but it is something that I plan on doing.  Maybe hubby and I can make a trip to Lowe's or Wally to get some flowers tomorrow night as well.  Then we can plant them Saturday.  The tulips that I planted haven't done so well.  Only 2 seem to be coming up and that isn't enough to make a pretty flower bed.  So I guess I will try again in the Fall.  Granny told me to take however many bulbs I wanted to plant and put them in the fridge 40 days before I plan on planting them.  And then plant them and they should pop right up.  I'll have to try that next spring.

Well, I do believe that is all that has happened to me in the last few days.  Hopefully it won't take me so long next time to update.  I'll talk with yall later!!

Longer days =)

OK, let's be honest, who forgot to turn your clocks forward an hour??  You know who you are!!!  Well, we didn't forget-surprisingly.  However, at 4am Jon Kent got up for his usual feeding and then decided to *play* until about 5:30am.  Gotta love him!!  Needless to say, we didn't get much sleep.  But we survived.

I am so glad that the days are finally going to be longer!  I love it when the sun doesn't go down until 7:00-7:30pm.  It means summer is coming and pretty weather is here to stay.  You just seem to have more time to do things.  Which is always nice.  Speaking of doing things, I need to plant my garden.  It's looking rough out there right now.  I planted some tulip bulbs last fall and I only see 2 of them trying to break their way through the dirt-*sigh*.  I was hoping more would pop up.  So I guess that means a trip to Lowes or Wal-Mart for some flowers.  I didn't really have a good flower garden last year.  Being pregnant and all really wore me out.  And to think, I am pregnant again and have a baby and I actually think I'll get more done this year than last...Hahaha!  Yeah I know I'm crazy.  But I really do plan on it.

Speaking of being pregnant.  So far it seems to be going good.  I am still nervous.  I am ready for April 28th to get here.  That way we will know if there is a heartbeat or not.  Then I will be able to breathe a lot easier.  Please pray that there is one.  The progesterone that I am on is making me dizzy and tired.  Which I expected because it happened to me last time.  Hopefully this time I won't get the headaches that I did last time.  Those were horrible!!

Well, I guess that is all.  I am going to bed now!  Yall be good and have a great Monday!!

Alrighty

I'm on my way to bed-once again...

But before I go, I have some websites that I want to share with yall.  The first one is: 1 800 Diapers: Pampers and Huggies Baby Diapers Delivered

Here is the deal with that site.  They sell most diapers cheaper than any other store that I have gone to.  When you go just type my email address in (EmilytheCreative@aol.com) and you will get $2 off your purchase and I will get $1 off my next purchase.  We all win!!

The next site I found through a friend in an email loop.  Here is that site:

Free sterling silver jewelry. Free offers from SilverJewelryClub.com

It is really a good site to go to.  The item changes every 15 minutes.  A great place to shop for gifts and such.  I know with us being on a budget it helps!!  All you have to do is pay the shipping and handling.

Well, I hope yall enjoy the sites.  Let me know what yall thought about them.  And seriously about the first site, check it out.  It will help anyone who has little ones in diapers.

I'll talk with yall later!!!  Don't forget to set your clocks forward!!!  SPRING FORWARD!!!  Woohoo...the days will be loooonger!!!

Umm...here we go....again

I could go into a long drawn out story and just go on and on and on and on and on.  I could make yall read word after word after word.  I could make you read through a long story of how, when, why, who, etc.  I could make yall guess as to what I am talking about.  I could wrote yall each a private email and let you know.  Or I could just tell you....

So many choices....

What's a girl to do.....

I was debating on telling the hundreds and hundreds of fans that I have. *sarcasm*  But I figured I might as well so that I could have each of your prayers....

Easter Sunday I found out that I will be a mommy...again.  I took a EPT test and it came back positive.  Then Thursday I went to the doctor.  Got my blood drawn and all that fun stuff.  Found out today that my progesterone came back at a 39 (which is good).  So when is the due date...15 days AFTER Jon Kent's 1st birthday.  November 30th, 2005.

This was a complete surprise.  So please, please, please keep us in your prayers.  We are by no means out of the woods yet.  I know that all this can become bad quickly.  I have already been through 2 miscarriages, so I know things aren't set in stone yet.  So please keep us in your prayers.

With that said...I am going to bed!!  Night all!
