*~*Subject Unknown*~*

So...busy, busy day for me I guess you could say.  I was sooo tired this morning that usually when I wake up I'll go ahead and get up.  But my body was just so tired, so I just laid there until Kent woke up.  We got up and had breakfast.  We watched a little TV here and there.  I told Kent that I wanted to put out the fall decorations today and go to Wally World and pick up some mums to go on the front porch with my other fall decorations.  So, we went and got out all the fall decorations that we had.  I waited to go to Wal-Mart after Kent left for work.  In the mean time, I went over to Granny's and walked on the treadmill for about 35 minutes.  I walked 1.65 miles, burned 209 calories, and 65 fat calories.  I was TIRED when I got done.  So after that I came home and took a shower and cooked lunch for Kent and myself.  We had chicken tenders and fries.  After lunch Kent got ready for work and I got ready to go to Wally World.  I went to Winn-Dixie first because Kent was out of drinks.  They had EVERY other drink you could possibly think of.....EXCEPT his.  They didn't have the canned or the 2 litters!  I was like no way.  So, I just picked him up another brand and was done with it.  I then went to Wally...and don't even GET me STARTED!  UGH!  So here is the deal...  We have a gift card that we got at one of my baby showers.  It's for $40.  Well, the OTHER day we went to Wally to get some baby items.  The card wouldn't work.  So, we just used our debit card and said that the next time we went to Wally for "whatever items" we would just use the gift card.  I even called the number on the card to make sure there really was a balance on the card and there was.  So...I go today to pick up some mums and fall decorations, milk, thank you cards and so on...  Well, I am in the garden department checking out.  I handed the lady the card and while she was swiping it, I told her the problem with the card.  I told her that if it wouldn't work, then I would just use my debit card and when I had more time I would come back and go to customer service and get it straightened out.  Well, she tries and tries and tries.  I could tell that "other people" behind me were getting a little frustrated so I told the woman I would just use my debit card.  Well, she kept swiping.  Then out of the BLUE this guy in the back of the lane says and I quote, "You have already TRIED to swipe it SIX times now...it's not going to work."  I just look at him like, "I know you aren't talking to me."  So, I tell the lady in a LOUD voice..."I'll just use my debit card since SOME PEOPLE SEEM TO BE IN HURRY!"  Then the guy starts yelling at the manager who by that time was there...he says "you would think on RACE WEEKEND you would have more than ONE register open in the garden department."  The manager says, "Sir, we do have more than one cashier..but she is on her lunch break...we do have to let them eat."  I casted a dirty look his way and said, "that's why I couldn't work with the public."  I apologized to the two ladies working there, but they both told me it wasn't a problem.  At first I thought it was funny...then the more I thought about it the more it made me mad.  I started getting madder and madder.  And I wasn't mad that the guy even said anything to me...it was the fact that I didn't say anything to him to really defend myself.  I was just ticked off by the time I got in my car.  I even called Kent and told him how upset it made me.  So...anyways....after that I went to the ATM and then home.  Once home I unloaded my car and put up all the fall decorations.  That was my day!  Pretty busy.  Now, I am washing clothes and just trying to relax as much as possible.  I know here lately I have been "over doing it" and I really just need to slow down.  But I hate to just do nothing.  I feel lazy and useless if I don't atleast do SOMETHING.  Hopefully, I will talk myself in relaxing more...I'll let you know how it goes...lol.  I'll talk with yall later!!!

UPDATE:  I finally got my picture thing working...hope they show up!  Enjoy!

Some pictures and ramblings...

Here are some pictures of the nursery (which isn't completed yet) and some of the things we got at the two showers we had.  Yesterday, I had a doctor's appointment and Kent got to go.  Everything checked out just fine.  I am measuring at 32 weeks, his heart rate was 160 bpm, my blood pressure was fine, my blood was fine and even my iron came back fine, and I gained 3 pounds.  I'm up to 24 pounds gained so far.  *sigh*  Jon Kent is still head down, so that is good.  I go every two weeks until my 36 week appointment.  Then after that I go every week!  YAY!  It's getting sooo close now.  Only 7 more weeks!  I can't believe it!  My next appointment is October 12th.  After the appointment, Kent and I went to BabiesRUs and picked up the swing.  It's so cute.  We also got a lamp, but we are taking it back because it doesn't work.  We got a diaper bag, cradle mattress, and cradle sheet.  We also got a cover to go over the changing table pad to make it a bit softer.  When we got home, Kent put the swing together.  Once we got it together and running, Kent and I both agreed that it made us sick to watch it swing back and forth AND for the little mobile that comes with it to spin around.  Hopefully, Jon Kent will enjoy it!  My plans for today are unclear.  Kent goes back to work tonight at 4pm and works til midnight.  Either I am going to clean the house or sit on the couch and do nothing.  We'll just have to wait and see what happens!  Well, that is all for now!  I'll talk with yall later!

Kent's Wal-Mart Spree...

Today was a pretty good day.  Besides all the washing of clothes...lol.  But it had to be done.  I had put it off for far too long.  I ended up having to do 5 loads...UGH.  But it's done.  And yesterday, I washed all the baby's clothes and what not and got the nursery in some what of a good order.  I'll have to take pictures of it when we get it done.  It's really starting to turn out fairly cute!

Well, Kent and I went to Wal-Mart tonight and I for one really had a good time!  We had some gift cards and we still needed somethings.  So, we went and I thought Kent would want to be in and out and be done with it all.  But he really surprised me.  He went into the baby section and played with things and looked at things and picked out things.  It was sooo much fun just watching him get excited about the baby and all the things that go with that.  We ended up getting some toys for Jon Kent and a mobile, a carrier (the ones you wear like a backpack), and some hangers.  I *think* that's all we got...lol.  We really had a good time though!

Tomorrow I have a doctor's appointment.  Kent is off and he is going to go with me.  He hasn't been able to go the past couple of times so I am looking forward to him getting to go.  We are then going to go to BabiesRUs.  We are going to look around and try to find a swing.  We'll see how it goes.  Well, that's all that I have for now.  I'll talk with yall later!  By the way, thanks to Dana for sending me the cute picture of the preggo Nov. mommy!

B-A-B-Y S-H-O-W-E-R

Tomorrow is another BABY shower for me!  YAY!  I'm soo excited!!!  This shower is for "friends" to come to.  I'm hoping a lot of people show up.  I know that my moma has already gotten a lot of gifts from people who couldn't come.  So, I'm hoping there are atleast some people still planning on actually coming!  Anywho, we will see tomorrow!

Tonight is Kent's LAST night of working the midnight to 8am shift!  WOOHOO!  Can we say...YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!  When he gets off of work tomorrow, he is going to call a guy about putting our NEW bathtub in.  I'm hoping the man can come out and look at the bathroom and hopefully put the thing in Monday.  I really need to get that tub out of the nursery, so I can start doing stuff in there!  But I guess it will have a to wait for a bit longer.

Well, that's all for now.  I'll talk with yall later!!!  BYE!!!  By the way, tomorrow is Saturday which also means....AUBURN football!!!  WAR EAGLE!!!

Feelin' GOOD!

Wow...did I just say that I was "feelin' good"?  YUP!  I just feel good today.  Which honestly is a great accomplishment!  I actually went to bed last night ALL BY MYSELF.  Sounds silly doesn't it!?!?!  But I don't care.  When Kent is working the midnight to 8am shift I rarely go to bed before 4am.  But last night I went to bed at 1:30am which is a good time for me.  And when Kent got home this morning we had breakfast together and instead of going back to bed with him I stayed up.  And I am HAPPY that I did!  I feel normal!  LOL!  After letting my food settle and doing some things around the house, I went over to Granny's and hopped on the treadmill and did 1.61 miles in 35 minutes.  I burned 204 calories and 64 FAT calories!  I feel sooooo good! ::puffs chest out::  And I know this is going to sound totally crazy, but while I was exercising I could see my shadow on the wall and for a pregnant woman...my shadow doesn't look half bad!  LOL.  Now, I am left with the rest of the afternoon to do whatever I want.  I'll probably clean...well I won't be able to vacuum until Kent gets up but the rest I could do.  We'll just have to see.  I know there is a trip to Wal-Mart in my future.  I need to pick some stuff up there.  I'm *thinking* about going ahead and washing some of the baby's clothes.  But is it too early???  I have roughly 8 weeks left.  Umm...any advice??  We'll see.  Anyway, I guess I am going to go and enjoy the rest of my day.  I'll talk with yall later!!!

PS:  Aren't my pumpkin faces the ugliest things you have ever seen???

It's THURSDAY

Nothing special really going on today.  The same ole same ole.  Last night/this morning was a loooonnnnnggggg night!  I decided that once Kent left for work that I would wash all the clothes and towels and things.  So, he left for work around 11:30pm.  I started washing....I think I finished at about 4:30am.  UGH!  I had to do it though.  Otherwise I would have to do it while Kent was sleeping or during the only time that we do have to spend together during the evenings.  I didn't mind too much.  I was staying up late anyways, but I guess it just made me tired and I ended up falling asleep on the couch for like 30 minutes or so.  Anyway, I finally went to bed and then Kent came home at like 8:30am or so.  He got me up and we ate breakfast together.  Then back to bed we went.  I slept til about 12:45pm (which I absolutely HATE doing).  Now, I am up and ready to START my day while others are starting to finish it.  UGH!  I feel so lazy!  But it's only for 2 more days.  So, I'll manage!  Anyway, I'm off to find something to do.  Yall be good and I'll talk with yall later!

Newborn's 10 Commandments to Parents

1)  Please take time to find out who I am, how I differ from you and how much I can bring to you.

2)  Please feed me when I am hungry.  I never knew hunger in your uterus, and clocks and time mean little to me.

3)  Please hold, cuddle, kiss, touch, stroke, and croon to me.  I was always held closely in your uterus and was never alone before.

4)  Please don't be disappointed when I am not the perfect baby that you expected, nor disappointed with yourselves that you are not the perfect parents.

5)  Please don't expect too much from me as your newborn baby, or too much from yourselves as parents.  Give us both six weeks as a birthday present- six weeks for me to grow, develop, mature, and become more stable and predictable; and six weeks for you to rest and relax and allow your body to get back to normal.

6)  Please forgive me if I cry a lot.  Bear with me and in a short time, as I mature, I will spend less and less time crying - and more time socializing.

7)  Please watch me carefully and I can tell you those things which soothe, console and please me.  I am not a tyrant who was sent to make your life miserable, but the only way I can tell you that I am not happy is with my cry.

8)  Please remember that I am resilient and can withstand the many natural mistakes you will make with me.  As long as you make them with love, you cannot ruin me.

9)  Please take care of yourself and eat a balanced diet, rest and exercise so that when we are together you have the health and strength to take care of me.

10)  Please take care of your relationship with each other, for what good is family bonding if there is no family to bond to?

Yup...it's STILL Wednesday

I feel like I have already lived through Wednesday...but yet it's still Wednesday!!!  These messed up work hours Kent is working is throwing me off!  When he works these hours (midnight til 8am) I usually go to bed around 3 or 4 in the morning.  Then get up and eat breakfast with Kent, go back to bed til 11am or 12pm and then get up and do odd jobs around the house until 4 when I get Kent up.  UGH!!!  Thankfully he is only working this shift for a few more nights!  It's driving me CRAZY!

On a happier note...I'm 32 weeks pregnant today!!!  Woohoo for me!!!  Only 8 more weeks to go...roughly.  Supposedly...the doctor isn't going to let me go past my due date.  Which to them is Nov. 22nd.  So hopefully by the 22nd I will have either had him or he is on his way that day.  Here's hoping anyways.  I can't believe I only have 8 weeks left.  Time has really flown by.  I couldn't honestly tell you that I am totally 100% ready to have him here.  But at the same time I want him out soon!  I just want all the mysteries of childbirth revealed so I don't have to think about it anymore.  People ask me if I am nervous about giving birth.  And honestly right now I'm not.  Because I have no clue how or when it is going to happen.  So for now I am just trying to "go with the flow".  We'll see how that works out for me!!

Well, I better go finish doing some house work.  Then it's either exercising or taking a shower...probably the shower.  And hopefully by then it will be time to get Kent up.  I'll talk with yall later!!!

HAPPY FALL TO ALL!!!!

<*><*><*><*><*><*><*><*>HAPPY FALL<*><*><*><*><*><*><*><*>

YAY!  It's offically Fall!  As of 12am September 22, it is Fall!!!  Woohoo!!  I'm so ready for the cooler weather to get here.  For the past few days, the weather here has been really nice.  Not too hot, not to cold.  Just right.  But it's starting to heat up again and the humidity is returning.  But hopefully not for long.  I love it when the days get cooler and you can open all the windows in your house.  Especially on Saturdays, when you can put a pot of chilli or strew on and have it cooking all day and sit down that evening and watch a good football game.  Umm now that is what I call FALL!!!  Hopefully, the cooler weather isn't too far away!!!!  Anyway, HAPPY FALL EVERYONE!!!!

Why am I soooo ILL???

OK...I just don't understand it!  I am sooo ill.  Why?  Umm good question!  I honestly have no reason to be ill, but here I sit...ill.  I have been fine all day.  Kent and I were able to spend the whole day together and we had a really great time just running errands, doing stuff around the house, and he even went over to his Granny's with me while I walked on the treadmill.  I just don't understand it.  It all started when I was home tonight alone watching 7th Heaven.  Kent's mom called and was asking me a bunch of questions about the car seat I had picked out on my registery.  I couldn't really answer her questions because I didn't know the answer.  Then she said something about getting a lower interest rate for our loan that we took our for our new car.  I told her I would have to ask Kent because he deals with all of that.  Then after I got off the phone with her my daddy called.  He was wondering about the tub and if we had figured out who we were getting to put it in.  I kinda (sorry daddy!) took my frustrations out on him.  Now, I feel really bad about that.  Still don't know why I was ill to begin with...now I have a headache.  Hmmph....  AND Kent has to go into work tonight and work the morning watch...grrrr.  I feel so awful...

My B-A-B-Y Shower!!!!!

YAY!!!  The shower went VERY well!  I was sooo scared people wouldn't show because of all the bad weather we had!  But I had atleast 25 people show up.  And lots and lots of gifts!  So, yall enjoy the pictures!!!!  Also, Kent should be getting my scanner all set up tonight...so VACATION pictures COMING SOON!!!!

By the way....WARRRRRR EAGLE HEY!!!  Auburn 10, LSU 9.  WAR EAGLE!

My Baby Shower is TODAY!!!

YAY!!!  YAY!!!  YAY!!!  My Baby Shower is today!  I'm soooo excited!  I'm hoping a lot of people come.  But I'm kind of worried they won't because of Ivan coming through the other day.  But the weather outside is sooo perfect.  It's supposed to be low 80's and sunny all day!  So, I'm hoping people come!  This shower is the "family" shower.  Where both sides of the family were invited.  We sent out a little less than 50 invitations to this shower.  So, hopefully SOMEONE will show!  We'll see!  I plan on taking lots of pictures on the digital camera and the regular camera as well.  So, I hope to have lots of pictures to share when I get back!  Also, Kent is downloading the software now for my scanner so maybe...just maybe...I'll get to scan some pics from our two Florida vacations some time today!  So...this may be a BIG picture sharing day!!!!!  Anywho, that's all for now!  Yall be good and I'll talk with yall later!!!

Ivan...not so much the terrible.

Ivan came and went.  For most people around *here* he wasn't that big of deal.  We lost power for a few hours, but no damage done to my house or to anyone's that I know of.  I took a few pictures of the storm as it came and what it did.  I hope yall enjoy them!

GO AWAY IVAN!!!!

::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::This is a hurricane free zone::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

Yup, Ivan is on his way.  Winds are expected to get to 60mph.  That wouldn't be so bad, but they are expected to stay that way for ATLEAST 12 hours.  They expect the hurricane to hang around for 24 hours and then move on.  Which stinks!  Everyone is getting ready.  No water at Wally World and hardly any candles.  I got us a weather radio and some batteries.  Hopefully, we will have power for as long as possible.  But Kent's grandfather was telling me that Alabama Power was shutting one of there steam plants down once Ivan really hits.  And guess who's power is on that steam plant....MINE!!!  Kent may also have to work extra hours because of the hurricane.  Which is good money wise but stinks because I will be alone.  Oh well...I guess you have to give a little to get a little.  I have done all the preparing here that I think I can do.  I have washed all our clothes, ironed Kent's uniforms, got the candles out, and cleaned the house.  I guess if my house gets blown away, it will get blown away with clean floors and a clean bathroom...lol.  Anyway, that is all for now.  I plan on taking some pictures as this thing blows through.  Hopefully, I will get those posted soon after the storm is gone...if we have power that is!  So, until later...please keep those of us in Alabama in your prayers!!!!

It's a good day...cloudy but good!

Well, Kent is back at work after having 9 days off.  I know it must have been hard for him to go back.  But he only should have to go for 9 more weeks and then he will be off for two weeks for when the baby comes!  YAY!  So, for the first time in a little over a week, I sit here in silence.  No TV, no Play Station, no A/C, just silence.  Ahhhhh....so peaceful!  So anyway, it's still cloudy.  I guess it will be that way for some time.  Ivan is still scheduled to come to my house sometime this week.  Although he is coming uninvited.  I just hope he is gone before my baby shower this Saturday. nbc13.com - Home  <---Here is a link for my local news station.  Yesterday our Gov. declared a state of emergency for the state of Alabama.  Mainly forcusing on the coastal communities.  Thankfully, where I live is more central Alabama.  They say by the time the hurricane gets here in central Alabama it will be a tropical storm, but that is still pretty powerful to be over land.  Anyway, we'll see how it goes!

Today I went to the doctor's.  Kent's granny went with me.  The appointment went just fine.  He had my dates wrong and was trying to tell me I was 29 weeks pregnant.  But we got it fixed.  He has my due date as November 22.  But I still say Nov. 17.  My stomach was measuring at 29 weeks though.  But everything checked out fine.  I passed my glucose testing and my iron was even doing a bit better.  He said it was on the low end of normal.  But I'll take what I can get!  And the best news of all......I'M GOING EVERY 2 WEEKS NOW!!!!  WOOHOO!!!!!  I was so happy to hear those words!!!!  :::Doing a happy dance::::  I gained 3 pounds (UGH).  So that makes me so far have a grand total of 21 pounds that I have gained.  I only wanted to gain 22 my whole pregnancy.  Doesn't look like that is going to happen.  Oh well!  After the doctor's appointment, Granny and myself went to JCPenny's to look at baby stuff.  They were having a really good sale!  Kent's granny bought me a stroller and the baby's bedding!!!!  She probably spent like $150!!!  I was like woah!  The stroller was $79.99 but we got it for $39.99!  I couldn't believe it!  And the bedding was $99.00 but we got it for $79.00!  They were really having a good sale! --->here is the bedding that we got...JCPenney : children's : bedding : nursery bedding  We think anyways...lol.  That lady that was checking us out didn't know what all she was doing I don't think.  Anyway, we had to order the bedding.  So, it should be here sometime in the next week or so.  After shopping we came home.  Now, I am thinking about going to Wally World and picking up some candles and extra batteries just in case Ivan throws our power off.  But I may wait until Kent gets home.  We'll see!  Anyway, I'll talk with yall later!!!  BYE!

*Cloudy Day*

Today has been such a cloudy day.  I guess with Hurricane Ivan on a direct path towards Alabama (atleast for now anyways) I better get used to the clouds.  It has sprinkled off and on for most of the day and I don't think I have yet to really see the sun.  Oh well.  Cloudy days aren't that bad...as long as they don't last forever.

Today Kent was off from work, so we mostly have just hung around the house.  Kent went and paid some bills and took our bed comforter (sp?) to be cleaned.  Then we went grocery shopping and to Wal-Mart.  I picked up some pictures from there.  I'm hoping to get our scanner hooked back up soon, so I can scan some pictures of our trips to Florida this summer.  After going to town we came home and I have been washing clothes.  I need to do some cleaning but I am thinking about putting that off until Friday.  We'll see.

Tomorrow I have a doctor's appointment.  I'm hoping he will tell me he wants to see me every two weeks from now on.  That would make time go by a lot faster!  Kent's mom and grandmother are going with me to the doctor.  We have to go to Sam's afterwards and pick up somethings for the baby shower.  I need to pick somethings up there as well...cleaning supplies, paper towels, toilet paper, etc.  Hopefully, we will have a good time.  Anyways, that is all for now.  Tonight is 7th Heaven and Everwood...which I am looking forward to getting back to watching all my shows that haven't been on this summer!!  Anyway, I'll talk with yall later!  BYE!

Heart burn...

Hmmph...  I have heart burn.  Usually when I get it, it only lasts a few hours.  Well, this time it has been off and on for two days.  I'm guessing it's just the baby crowding everything out and causing the acid reflux and heart burn.  It's not a lot of fun to have...that's for sure!  Besides the heart burn, I have been feeling great with the pregnancy.  Jon Kent is moving A LOT which is always fun to watch.  I can put my hand on my stomach and he will kick at it until I move it.  He definately likes his own space!  I can't wait to see him.  I can almost say for sure that he is going to look just like Kent.  I don't know why I think that...but I just do.  He will be cute!  My belly button has almost disappeared.  It's to the point now that it's starting to turn inside out.  LOL.  The skin that used to be INSIDE my belly button "hole" is now part of my stomach.  I'm hoping it goes back to normal though after the baby is born.  But so far no stretch marks...so far...  This afternoon we FINALLY cleaned out the closet in the baby's room.  We aren't going to use it to keep Jon Kent's clothes in.  Since the house is so small, we are using that closet as a storage closet.  We will just put Jon Kent's clothes in our closet.  Anyway, it's all cleaned out and organized.  Kent did 99% of the work.  I just sat in a chair and pointed.  It was so nice!  Tomorrow we are hopefully cleaned out the utility closet.  We'll see how it goes.  Anyway, that was basically my day.  I'll talk with yall later!

We're Back!

Well, we are back!  We got down there on Tuesday to cloudy skies and red flags.  We still went out to the pool.  The pool was kinda dirty with leaves and twigs from where the winds blew so hard.  The resort we were staying at was like a ghost town.  No one was out of their rooms.  Wednesday the clouds cleared and the sun was out.  We had a good day of tanning and playing at the pool and on the beach.  Thursday was the same.  The red flags came down and the blues flags were up.  It was very pretty!  Friday we took a boat out to Shell Island and spent 4 hours on the water.  We went looking for shells and just played in the water.  Kent and I got up early this morning and headed back home.  We were both tired and just reading to get back in town.  The trip was all and all a good one.  It was nice to get away for a bit.  We also went to Lowes tonight and picked up a bath tub.  It should be put in sometime at the end of this month!  Well, that is all for now.  I'm seriously tired and just ready for bed!  Yall be good and I'll talk with yall later!!!

Packing...Packing...Packing...

Did I mention packing???  Whew!  Who knew packing was such a workout!?!?!  I guess it is when you are pregnant!  I am TIRED!  I have packed 90% of our clothes.  I still have a few that are in the dryer and once they are done I will finish packing all the clothes.  I have started packing the bathroom supplies.  Since I am using traveling bottles of shampoo, conditioner, bath wash, etc. I can go ahead and pack those.  But there is still a lot of stuff that I won't be able to pack until the last minute...toothbrush, toothpaste, brush, etc.  I'm hoping I don't forget something...  Kent has been fooling around with the car most of today and making CDs for us to listen to as we go down.  He is currently outside cleaning the car.  The weather is starting to look good for the FL vacation.  But the weather here is starting to get bad.  A lot of winds today and rain.  The storm is moving this way...  So even though it will be gone from PC when we get there, we still have to drive through it on our way down there.  This is the forcast for the PC area...AOL Weather - Panama City, FL  Not too bad.  The three *full* days that we will be down there, it will be sunny.  So, that is good.  Hopefully, the weather will continue to be nice.  For those of you who don't know, this is where we are staying...Edgewater Beach Resort.  Lagoon Pool

Gulf Front Towers

Pretty nice!  The pool is 11,000 square feet.  We are staying in a 3 bedroom, 3 bath room.  We got a really great deal!  We are renting from an owner instead of from the actual resort.  So instead of paying $350 a night we are only paying $150!  In about a hour and a half we are going to be cooking out with Kent's family.  We are BBQing.  It should be fun, but I still have a lot of stuff to do.  So, I better get going.  This may or maynot be my last entry, but if it is...I'll talk to yall either Saturday or Sunday!  Byeeeee!!!!

NOT going to Florida....MONDAY that is...

Well...we are still going to Florida.  Just postponing it a day.  We were going to leave tomorrow morning, but we decided against that since Monday is when the hurricane/tropical storm is supposed to be hitting PC.  We will still have to drive through it to get to the beach, but by then it should be a lot weaker.  So, we are leaving Tuesday morning and coming back Saturday.  So, maybe we will have a couple of days where we have some sun.  We shall see!  The storm though right now looks pretty rough.  So, maybe its a good thing we are waiting a day to go down there.  I'm S-L-O-W-L-Y getting a bit more excited about it.  But no where near to where I normal would be.  Hopefully, once I get down there I will get excited.  I hope so anyways!  Well, I have a lot of washing to do and ironing.  So, I best be getting back to that!!!  I'll talk with yall later!  PS:  The underline parts shows where...for now....no rain that day!

Looks like we will be in the room most of the time.  Or shopping.  Shopping wouldn't be so bad, but I could do that here....  I hate to sound like I am complaining, but come on...you go to the beach to lay out in the sun...not to get blow away by a hurricane!!!!  Back to my pouting...

I'm going...but I'm not happy about it...

Usually, I would be thrilled that we are going to the beach.  UGH...but not this time.  I just checked the forecast for the next week in Panama City Beach, and it will be raining the WHOLE time!  I'm hoping they are just wrong, but I don't see how they will be, because the hurricane is moving sooo slowly and the path of it is going right over PC Beach.  Grrrr...of all weeks...why the one week that we are going to the beach!?!?!!?  I'm going to go pout now...

Cleaning, post office, pedicure, and hurricane

Whew...we've got a lot to talk about!  So, today is FRIDAY which means it's my cleaning day.  I was really trying to get everything *extra* clean, so it would be clean for when we go to the beach.  That way I'll enjoy my vacation and not constantly be thinking of getting home to clean my house.  ANYWAY...I cleaned almost everything.  There are still a few odds and ends to do, but for the most part it's done.

I went to the post office today to mail off a package.  So, I get in there and put my box on the counter and the lady looks at me like, "what is this?"  I started to ask her if she has ever seen a package before, but I told my hormones to shut-up.  Anyway, she goes on to tell me that my package is *unexceptable* because it doesn't have a label on it and it isn't *sealed* properly.  UGH!  It WAS sealed properly AND they put a label on it anyways!  So, I tell her well don't yall put a label on it anyways with the address and what not on it?  And she looks at me like I am stupid.  By this time, I was pretty upset and really just wanted to cry.  So, I just picked my package up and walk out.  I go to Wal-Mart and get another *package* and some tape and tape that thing up to where no one is getting in there and I make sure it has a label and EVERYTHING!  Anyway...my package was finally *excepted* and mailed out.

I went to get a pedicure today.  It was really nice.  I haven't had one in awhile and since we are going to the beach I wanted my toes looking *cute*.  So anyways, I get my toes done and I am sitting there waiting for them to dry.  Kent's moma was there and I was waiting on her to get done as well.  So the guy asks me if I want to get a manicure.  I didn't want to at first but later decided to.  So, he gives me a manicure and in the process tells me to stop biting my nails...likes that's ever going to happen.  But honestly I don't bite them all that much.  Just from time to time.  Anyway, all my nails are now pretty and polished and ready to head to the beach!

So, it looks like Hurricane Frances has decided to change it's path once again.  At first they were saying that it was going to go through Florida and up into GA.  But NOW they are saying it will go through Florida and up into Alabama.  Which isn't great news because we are heading out Monday to go to Florida.  So we will practically be driving in rain the WHOLE WAY!  But, hopefully it will all be gone from Florida by the time we get there.  Here's hoping anyways!

Well, that is about it for today.  Kent is fixing to be home and we are grilling out.  Yall be good and I'll talk with yall later!

I'm ready for Fall....Bathroom woes...

I am soooo ready for Fall.  I am ready to do Fall decorations and to put mums out.  PLUS, I am soooooo ready to feel that fall breeze...mmmm.  I just love fall.  I always have.  It's soooo nice to have all the windows up, the doors open and a football game on the TV.  That is what I think about when I think of fall.  I can't wait.  I don't plan on doing too much fall decorations though this year.  Usually I do the whole hay stack in the front yard thing, but this year I'm just going to decorate my front porch.  It would be too much trouble to deal with since my belly is already getting in the way of a lot things...plus I don't want to have to be dealing with all that when I am about ready to pop!  So, just the front porch it is!

So, we are pratically redoing our bathroom.  We were just getting a bath tub.  THEN it went from that to...getting a bathtub and moving the toilet to a different wall, covering up a window, possibly moving the sink, and redoing the floor.  Ahh...will it ever get done?  Of course it will...but right now it's hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel...but it'll get done.  THEN (crossing fingers) maybe just maybe the nursery will get done!  UGH...I swear that nursery has caused me more stress...  I'll just be glad when it's done...finished...

Onto other news...my friend Lesli found out today that she is having a GIRL!  YAY for her!!!!  I can't wait to see her.  I bet she'll be a cutie!

Well, that is all from the home front!  Yall be good and enjoy your Thursday!!!!
