I'm tired!

Whew, I am sooo tired.  It took all I had to give Jon Kent a bath tonight.  I don't know what is going on.  Whether it's the baby or getting a cold or what.  But whatever it is, it's kicking my butt!  I think the whole "can't catch a good breath thing" during pregnacy is already started.  And I am only 9 weeks!!  What is all that about!?!?!  Maybe it's just a cold, I don't know.  I just wish I could get a deep breath in every now and again.  Oh well.

Last night or early this morning a line of severe thunderstorms came through.  They woke me up and then about 10 minutes later they woke Jon Kent up.  I would get him back to sleep and then a HUGE clap of thunder would happen and his eyes would pop back open.  I did that from like 5:30-7am.  It was NO fun!  And the power also went out.  It stayed out for like 3 hours.  Which that was fun...trying to heat a bottle up with some bath water.  LOL.  For the rest of the day it just rained off and on.  It cooled down quite a bit too.

Tomorrow is the BIG race at the Superspeed Way.  This year my road (which leads to the track) has been extra busy.  I see RVs and trucks going up and down the road all day and night.  I like watching some of the people that come to town.  I am a people watcher, so I find it entertaining.  Kent doesn't care a thing for it.  I'm weird like that I guess!

Well, I am gone.  Going to watch the news and then grab and book and head to bed to read and hopefully drift off into dream land!!  I'll talk with yall later!!

My doctor visit today

I went to see the doctor today.  Everything with me was fine, I even lost a pound.  So anyways, the doctor comes in and gets the doppler out to try and find a heartbeat.  Well, he couldn't find one.  Which I knew would happen because I am only 9 weeks along.  So anyway, he sends me for an ultrasound because he said with me having two miscarriages already that for my peace of mind I needed to know what was going on.  So we go in the waiting room for the ultrasound and we wait, and we wait, and we wait.  Finally they call us back there and the lady has the screen turned away from me so I can't see anything just in case it was bad news.  As soon as she put the "thing" (I don't know what it is called) on my stomach she said, "Well there's that baby!"  Woohoo!  The heartbeat was 176bpm.  Which is way faster than Jon Kent's ever was.  So anyway, she lets me see the baby and that thing was wiggling all over the place.  Kent said it looked like he was looking at a pinball machine because the baby was just everywhere!  So everything is checking out just fine.  I was measuring right where I was supposed to be.  In fact the ultrasound said my due date according to the baby's measurements was 11/29/05 instead of 11/30/05.  It's only a day but I was thinking they were off by atleast a week.  I figured my due date would have been moved back to December sometime.  Anyway, there's the update!  I'll talk with yall later!

Doctor Visit

Kent and I took Jon Kent to the doctor.  Jon Kent was doing fine all the way up until the doctor came in.  He pitched a fit!  The doctor looked him over and this is the results:  he has a double ear infection, head cold, and chest cold.  And the doctor said that he thought he heard something in JK's right lung.  He gave us a bunch of medicine to give him.  Poor baby.  Atleast it all tastes good.  We go back in 2 weeks to make sure that everything is cleared up.  Kent decided to stay home with us tonight.  Since Jon Kent is sick and now has decided to start throwing up as well.  I LOVE having Kent home with us.  For whatever reason, it just seems cozier (sp?) when he is home.  Plus, I just love him soooo much that I like him being home with us.  Anyway, I have a funny story to share, but don't let Jon Kent know that I told yall. <wink, wink>  Kent was changing Jon Kent's diaper this afternoon.  I was in the bedroom.  All of a sudden I hear Kent say, "oh crap".  I just thought that Jon Kent had put his foot into his poop.  Then Kent yells, "Make Jon Kent a bath".  LOL.  So I go into the bathroom and fix Jon Kent's bath up.  Then go into JK's room where Kent was changing his diaper.  Somehow, and Kent and I have yet to figure it out...Jon Kent got poop all over the side of his head.  Kent said he doesn't know how it got there and he didn't see it when JK laid his head all in it.  Kent said that Jon Kent was just laying there like nothing was wrong.  Let me tell yall...it was the grossest thing yet that I have experienced with Jon Kent.  I was gagging and trying my best to just not throw up all over the place.  Anyway, we got it all cleaned up and Jon Kent got an extra bath for the day.  Which he doesn't mind.  His new nickname is "Poopiehead".  LOL.  Something to tell the grandkids about some day...  Well, that is all for us.  I'll talk with yall later!

My little man is sick =(

My poor little man is sick.  He has been *trying* to get a cold for a few days now.  And yesterday I thought he was getting better, but this morning he woke up coughing and coughing.  I can tell that it has now gone down into his chest.  Which scares me because he whizzes and that to me just doesn't sound good.  He is also sneezing and has a stuffy nose.  But it's not so stuffy as to where I can get that *snot sucker* thing in there and get it out.  He is also running a fever of 100.  If he isn't better by morning, I am calling the doctor and getting an appointment for tomorrow.  I am telling ya, this is the worst feeling in the world.  Too see your child sick and there isn't much you can do for them.  And another thing, whatever Jon Kent has I seem to be getting.  If it means though that he is getting *rid* of it and I am getting it then by all means I will gladly take it all as long as it will make him better.  The little man is laying in the floor watching Baby Einstein.  Which is really all he wants to do.  He doesn't want to play or anything.  Just lay there.  Anyway, I hope he feels better soon.  If yall could, please pray for him to get better.  I'll talk with yall later.

I've got pictures!!!

Today was a pretty good day.  I actually felt a lot better today.  And I even washed some clothes.  Woohoo!!  I am hoping the medicine that I am taking (progesterone) isn't affecting me as much as it used to.  From what I can remember (I know it wasn't long ago) I started feeling better a few weeks before stopping the medicine.  So hopefully this will be the norm for me from now on.

Anybody watch American Idiol tonight?  It was the result show.  Can I say, GO BO!!!  He's a Bama boy so he has to win!!!  But that is just my opinion!  I have yet to vote though.  By the time the show goes off it's time for Jon Kent's bath and then bottle and bed.  So by the time I am through with him, I forget to vote.  Oh well!

Kent is off tomorrow and Friday!  YESSSSS!!!  I sooo look forward to his days off.  I love, love, love having him home with me.  He is just the bestest (ok, I haven't used that word since Jr. High) husband in the world!!  He's probably thinking, "what does she want now???"  LOL.  My birthday IS coming up and OH so is Mother's Day...since I am a mommy now.  Woohoo!!  Maybe I'll rack up this year!!  <wink, wink>

Well, that is all for tonight.  Enjoy the pictures!!
