Happy Spring Day!

Today is the first day of Spring.  Woohoo!  Now it will snow butt deep...

It's actually pretty nice out right now.  It's a little on the cool side but nothing a light jacket or long sleeve shirt wouldn't cure.  OK, now I just sounded like the local weather woman.  I digress..

I've been keeping busy all day long today.  Either playing with the kids or cleaning my house.  I've washed all the sheets in the house, (shhh don't tell Kent.. he hates when I wash them) all the clothes, cleaned the bathrooms, cleaned the kitchen, cleaned the foyer.  Now I'm just waiting for all the floors to dry so I can go and put everything back in place.  I still need to straighten up from where the kids have been playing in every room of the house today.  I also ran to Wal-Mart with the kids.  Now that was an experience that I wouldn't mind forgetting or ever experiencing for that matter.  Let me tell yall how it went...  We needed to go to Wal-Mart to pick up a few things.  It wasn't suppose to be a long trip by any means.  So we get there and I put both kids in the buggy (that's a shopping cart for my northern readers) and off we go.  I'm looking at face wash when I hear the kids say, "Bubble Bath!".  I told them to pick out a bottle each and that I would get it for them.  So they did and we were off.  We then went to grab a few more things and the last item on our list was bread.  So we are in the bread aisle when my feet slip on something.. I'm like what the heck...???  I figure someone just spilt something.  But then I started smelling something really fruity and I look down to see my daughter with the top off one of the bottles of bubble bath.  It was all in the buggy, all under the buggy and apparently we had been making a trail of bubble bath throughout the store... grrrrrrreaaaaattttt...  So out of the buggy went their bubble bath.  And Zoey had it all over herself as well.  So we go and check out quickly and I am getting thekids in the car and getting our stuff in the car.  Well I go to lift the thousand ton pack of bottle water and what is allll over it????  Why bubble bath... it's alllll over the front of my shirt and my pants.  Now yall.. this is where I really wanted to cry.  I wanted to cry in the store too, but this is where it all hit the fan.  I started thinking to myself.. how in the world do you expect to go to town with 3 kids when you are having this much trouble going to town with 2?  Who in their right mind has 3 kids so close together?  Who in their right mind even has kids, period?  All my hormones, all my running thoughts of madness... all of it just hit me like a ton of bricks.  And let me tell you, it wasn't pretty.  But in the end we are fine.. we will be fine and things will turn out fine.  But in that one moment of pregnant, hormonal, craziness it just wasn't fine.

Ya I can see how you can get frustrated. I get to see first hand how frustrated my niece gets with three very young children.  Sometimes she just wants to pull her hair out!  I have three kids but mine are ages 19, 17 and 3  Not so hard to handle that! lol   Now my nieces kids are 3,2 and just turning one!  That gets a little crazy!  She often wondered if she was nuts to have that many!

Three kids will be awesome and you will love every minute of it.  Nathan will be the cherry on the top of that wonderful duo that you already have!  If not, I'll take him!
