Happy Memorial Day Weekend

Well, I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend!  Not much going on around here.  No big plans for my Memorial Day.  Kent has to work from 7:30am-4:00pm tomorrow so he won't get to enjoy the "activities".  I'm going up to Kent'sparent's to grill out and spend time with them.  It's supposed to be stormy tonight and tomorrow so I don't know how things will go.  The weatherman said that there is a possibility of tornados but if not that than strong thunderstorms.  So, I don't think I'll swim much tomorrow.  Besides spending time with the O______'s family there is nothing else planned.  I guess I'll just sit around the rest of the time.

This morning was pretty eventful.  The roosters once again were outside our window at 5:45 this morning.  I wanted to go out there and choke them.  Well, it's a good thing I didn't.  I heard Kent's alarm clock go off at like 6ish and I thought he was reaching over to hit the snooze button.  Well, he reached over and turned it off.  Well, a little while later I hear Kent roll over and say "OH CRAP!"  So, I roll over and its 7:10am and he has to be at work at 7:30am.  So, I get up while he is in the bathroom and cook him some breakfast real quickly (egg sandwich) and he is out the door by 7:25am.  Thankfully, we only live about 5 minutes from where he works, but still.  The poor boy didn't get to take a bath.  Oh well.  With all that excitemet, I couldn't go back to sleep so I went ahead and took a shower and ate some breakfast.  At around 10:20am I head to church.  After church, my moma, daddy, brother, and myself go out to eat.  It was a good time.  My poor brother and his girlfriend broke up for some sort of reasons, but he seemed to be taking it well.  So we'll see how that pans out.  Anyway, after eating and doing a little bit of shopping, we headed home.  I am now washing clothes and straightening my house up.  So, I guess I better get off of here and go and clean my house!  Yall be good and enjoy yall's weekend.  And remember...please don't drink and drive!!!!!!

OK...first I must address that NO ONE seems to leave me comments much anymore.  What's up with that?  I mean I think I write about interesting topics to which a comment would be left after reading.  It's crazy!  But that's OK.  Because I know yall still come to read...I see my little meter thing going up, up, up.  Unless its just my daddy hitting the refresh button over and over...which that is OK too.  I'll just keep writing and if yall feel lead to leave a comment then so be it....

Right now I am pretty tired.  But strangely enough my husband doesn't seem so tired.  He is in the livingroom playing on his PS2.  So maybe after I get off of here I can throw myself in the bed and maybe he'll join...to sleep.  ANYWHO, my day today was rather boring.  I was going to go get my nails done...all 20 of them (hands and feet), but was too lazy to get up and go.  So, I just laid around all day.  I did manage to get in the shower around 3:30pm.  I went out to eat with my parents for supper and then went back to their house and watched TV.  Then Kent called and told me he was home and I am now back at the house....sleepy.....so I guess I shall end this entry and go to bed....night all...          ZzZzZzZzZzZzZzZzZzZzZz

                                                

Weekend Assignment

Weekend Assignment #7: Share the vacation you most want to take -- but haven't taken yet. (Extra Credit: Show off some recent vacation photos.)

What vacation would I most want to take...ummm....Hawaii would be a place that I would love to go to someday.  In fact, my husband and I were talking about it the other day.  But for us to even think about going there would take tons of planning.  With a baby on the way, we figure it will be many years before we can plan on a trip like that.  But it is nice to think about.  Going to a place that is beautiful all year round.  Were the water is crystal blue and the sunsets are always breath taking...or so I've read.  I can dream can't I???

*****EXTRA POINTS*******  I do have pictures of our last vacation.  It was to Florida.  We had a blast.  We went jet skiing, shell hunting, putt-putt golfing, dolphin hunting (to see, not kill), and we just had a great time getting away for a few days.

Weird

Today I just feel weird.  With all the news of new attacks going around its hard not to worry.  They don't give you a lot of information, so you are just kind of stuck thinking the worst.  I'm hoping that they can stop whoever these people are before they do something horrible.  I just have to keep my faith in God in mind and trust that He is taking care of us.  I pray that He keeps His hand over this country and that we can be protected from possible attacks.

On to another topic, my OLD NAVY package finally arrived today.  All my clothes fit and I look down right cute in them.  I can't wait to wear them around.  I have my bathing suit on right now.  I'm trying to hint to Kent that I want to go swimming.  So far he hasn't taken the hint.  Umm maybe he will after we eat lunch.  The sun is out and I wouldn't mind getting some of it before it gets cloudy around here.  We'll see!

Last night I voted 89 times for Diana.  I was shooting for 100 but oh well.  I voted for most of the 4 hours that the phone lines were open.  We'll just have to see how it goes tonight.  Well, that is all from here.  I'll talk with yall later!

For I am too proud!

Ok, ok, ok...I couldn't help myself.  I am so proud that I FINALLY got my Bush logo in my "All About Me" section.  Kent and I have tried to figure it out and thanks to a little help..ok a lot of help...from others I finally got it in there.  Before I start getting comments about "why would I want Bush and all that great stuff"...let me remind you that you too can add whatever you want in your "All About Me" section or where ever you want.  Thats called being an American and having that right.  I have the right to vote for Bush just like you have the right to vote Kerry or Sponge Bob.  It doesn't matter.  So please keep your comments to yourself.  Thank you!

Well, now that all that is said and done...on to my day.  I went swimming and I got a little bit of sun.  I wish we could have stayed out longer but Kent was starting to burn.  We came home and watched Lord of the Rings 3.  Well, Kent watched it...I slept and/or got on the computer for most of the movie.  Then, we started cooking supper.  We had grill chicken, mac and cheese, and rolls.  After dinner we sat down and watch American Idol...go Diana!!!  I'm hoping she wins...so far she has 20 votes from me.  But we'll just have to see what happens.  Seeing how this season has gone, there is no telling who will come out the winner.  ANYWHO, that has pretty much been my day.  I guess I will get off here and clean some dishes...sounds fun doesn't it...lol!

Mission: Wally World...2400 hours

Hey all!!!!  Nothing new going on here.  I thought my OLD NAVY package would arrive today, but it didn't! *sniff, sniff*  For the most part all I did today was watch TV.  I figured after my long work day yesterday that I deserved a rest.  Kent got off of work at 4:00pm so it was nice to have him home before midnight...  They had some sort of training today, so he went in at 7:30am instead of his usual 4:00pm.  ANYWAY, when he came home I was going to cook supper but all we really had was hamburger meat and right now that isn't ranking high on my favorite foods list.  So Kent was nice enough to go to Captain D's and grab us something to eat.  Now, I am at my parent's house.  My parents aren't here, but they will be shortly.  Kent is in the tanning bed...lol....and I am bored.  Later at midnight, Kent, his mom, his brother, his sister, and myself are going to Wally World to pick up the new and last (thank goodness) Lord of the Rings 3.  Kent's dad is out of town (Atlanta) doing some sort of training so we all decided to go to Wal-Mart.  Kent's mom is doing her Spring Cleaning or as Kent calls it her Psycho Cleaning so she is usually up pretty late.  So, that is was my day and the plans for my night.  Pretty interesting isn't it?  Don't you wish you could live my adventurous life????  Well, until next time...yall be good and I'll talk with yall later

If it wasn't clean...it is now!

 

Well, today has been one busy day for me.  It all started at around 8:15am when Kent and I were awoken by roosters.  ROOSTERS????  Where in the world did they come from?  Well, apparently our next door neighbors decided they want to live on a farm, so instead of moving to one, they brought the farm to them.  But being irresponsible they didn't make a fence for these alarm clocks to stay in.  So they were pretty much on our porch eating hay that we around some of our newly planted bushes.  Kent looked at me like "what is that".  I calmly told him of our neighbor's new expenditure.  So, he walks out and scares them off.  We go back to sleep.  Around 9:00am we get up and get ready for church.  We barely arrive before services start, but thankfully we did.  After church we came home and went up to Granny's to eat.  I had to leave a little early because of my cousin's baby shower at 2:00pm.  The shower went alright.  But I was home by 3:00pm, if that tells you anything.  Well, I get home and start my cleaning.  Starting with the laundry.  So far I am 3 loads down with 3 more to go and it is 8:15pm now.  Once the clothes were in order I started cleaning.  I had only planned on doing general cleaning (vacuuming, sweeping, dusting, cleaning counter tops, and so on).  What I ended up doing was: cleaning windows, vacuuming, dusting EVERYTHING, sweeping, sorting, throwing away things, organizing, and straightening.  A bit more than I had planned on, but it felt good to get my house really clean.  After cleaning I went outside and got out all the weeds in my garden and picked all the dead flowers.  Then I watered all my plants and came inside for some supper.  Now, I am just relaxing and waiting for Kent to get home.  Not to mention the rest of clothes that need to be washed.  And to think, I'm adding a baby to all this madness.  Ahh, the more the merrier.......right?

Weekend Assignment

Weekend Assignment #6: Tell us about your best friend in second grade (or the grade closest to that in which you remember having a "best friend"). Where is he or she now? Do you still keep in touch? (Extra credit: show any pictures of yourself from second grade.)

So, this is the first time for me doing this.  I've known about the weekend assignments but never caught them in time...so here goes....

My best friend in 2nd grade was Lesli.  We met in school one day when the teacher was letting us "quietly talk".  We both had trapper keepers (yall remember those???) and we decided we wanted to play house.  So we set up the trapper keepers to look somewhat like a house and we played.  After that we played on the playground and continued to be friends all the way into high school.  There were a few years at the end of high school and into "adult life" that we weren't too good of friends.  But once we grew up a little and started lives of our own we became friends again.  We are both expecting our first child.  I wonder if they will be best friends?  Who knows...maybe they will become best friends through a trapper keeper someday...only time will tell!

Family Fun Day

Well, today was Family Fun Day at Kent's "work establishment".  They had volleyball games, face paintings, cotton candy, snow cones, relay games, Wal-Mart shopping card drawings, animals, firetrucks, dunking booths, and tons of food.  I didn't know we were going.  And Kent thought it was next Saturday.  So at 11:00am we decided we were going and it started at 12:00pm.  So I ran through the shower and got dressed only to find none of my clothes fit.  GRRRRRRRRRR  And OLD NAVY still hasn't delivered my package yet.  So, I finally found some shorts that if I didn't eat too much I could get by in.  It was awful.  But in the end we had a good time.  Kent played volleyball and his team won the trophy.  It was OPERATIONSvsPROGRAMS.  If you know where he works you understand that to a certain degree.  Anyway, they won and I was happy to see that.  Kent had to be into work at 4:00pm so he went and took a shower at thier FITNESS and WELLNESS CENTER and I went home around 3:15pm.  I got a lot of sun.  Mostly on my toes though...lol.  But it was still a good time.  Now, I'm about to head over to my parent's house and spend the rest of the night with them.  So, I'll talk with yall later!!!!

Thursday and nothing to do

Well, its Thursday.  The sun is out and it looks like the rain has finally left.  Maybe I'll tan today....but I don't know.  I'm so lazy that it's too much work for me to go lay out in the sun...sad.  Anyway, I was going to clean today...but I don't feel like it.  I still may go through my kitchen cabinets and reorganize them and get rid of somethings.  Sounds fun doesn't it!?!?!  I want to go swimming but my lovely husband doesn't seem thrilled by the idea.  Maybe if I pout long enough he will give in.  We need to go to his mom's house anyways.  He wants to nair his body so he can start tanning...and that mess stinks and I vetoed(sp?) the decision that I would do it.  So he is getting his mom to do it...she just doesn't know it yet.  Ayway, that is my day.  Nothing big going on.  Just washing clothes.  I guess I can tackle the cabinets now...while I'm in the mood.  Talk with yall later!

No subject really...

Well, nothing exciting happened today.  Just sat around the house and watched TV.  Exciting huh?  Kent and I did walk for about 20-30 minutes or so today.  It was nice but I was really tired when we got done.  I took about a 30 minute nap.  We went over to my parent's tonight.  It was a good time.  We talked about things that happened many years ago and we had a good laugh.  Then Kent and I went to Wally World to pick up some water, veggies, and fruit. 

Tomorrow may be a bit busier.  I need to wash clothes and clean house.  Nothing big but things do need to be dusted.  If the suns stays out long enough I wouldn't mind tanning for a bit.  My legs are starting to hate me because I have let them get so white.  We'll just have to see how the day goes.  Well, that is all for now!  Later!

ONE YEAR!!!!!

First of all...I am soooo proud of my husband!!!!  He has been at his job for a whole year today which is great because his job is now pretty much set!  I am so proud of him for all his hard work!  YAY for Kent!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today was a rainy day.  It wanted to rain all day and even some thunderstorms came through but no rain.  Finally around 9:30pm it started to rain and it still hasn't stopped.  It's good though because we needed it.  It also thundered a little bit but nothing serious.

That was pretty much my day!  I'm just sitting here waiting for the hubby to get home.  I'll talk with yall later!!!!

Well....

Well...another day has gone by and it was an alright day.  It thunderstormed most of the day.  It was weird, because from like 12:00-2:30pm all it did was thunder.  Finally around 2:30pm it started lightening and raining.  Tomorrow is supposed to be the same way.  So, I guess no tanning for me...oh well. 

Things around here have been tense.  My friend who is pregnant had some unusal cramping so her doctor said to come in and see her.  So, they went today and did an ultrasound and either she is miscarrying or she isn't as far along as they first thought.  I am hoping and praying that she just isn't as far along as they thought.  I finally knew what it was like to have someone close to me go through something like I did and yet I still felt useless because even though I know what it is like, there is still no words to say to make things better.  I just hope it doesn't come to her miscarrying, because I know the pain and sadness that that loss holds.  Please say a prayer for her.  She goes back to the doctor Wednesday to find out what is going on.

Tonight I went to town to get gas (2.05 a gallon for the best gas).  My car used to only take $9.00 to fill it up now its almost $14.00.  It's crazy!  Anyway, after that I went through the drive thru at Arby's and grabbed me a #2 (Roast beef and cheddar), and headed home.  I ate most of my meal.  It seems lately that I can seem to be starving and when I start eating it's like after a few bites I'm stuffed.  It's crazy!  Anyway, after eating I watched some TV and waited for 7th Heaven to come on.  It was their season finale.  I've heard that next season will be their last.  It seems like everyone is ending their shows.  Well, anyway, that was basically my day.  I am waiting for my husband to call to see if he is working til 12:00am or 10:30pm.  I am hoping for 10:30pm.  Well, that is all for now!  Later all!

Well, I am bored.  Nothing new there though.  Today was a busy day but now...nothing.  So here is the run down:  We got up at 9:00am and got ready for church at 11:00am.  Church let out around 12:20pm we came home and changed and went over to Kent's parent's house to eat lunch.  Granny was out of town so we ate at his parent's house.  Then at 2:00pm we had a birthday party to be at.  It went pretty well and it was a good time.  After the party we came home and Kent got dressed and went to work. =(  I miss Kent when he is at work.  Anyway, once he left I started washing clothes and cleaning the house.  It's been awhile since I have felt like cleaning ANYTHING so it was nice to be back in the swing of things.  After cleaning I talked to my friend Lesli on the phone for awhile and we made plans to meet tomorrow to just hang out or whatever.  And now I am just sitting around watching TV and getting on the internet.  I am trying to keep myself busy until Kent gets home.  I plan on sleeping in tomorrow since I haven't been able to do that in a few days.  It will be nice to roll over and look at the clock and know you have no where to be.  Plus, I get up several times during the night to go potty that I lose some sleep so it will be nice to get that back...while I still can.  =)  Well that is it for me!  I guess I will talk with yall later!

I'm here...somewhere

Well, sorry no updates.  I've just been either too busy or too lazy to write.  My birthday was great!  I got a digital camera (3 weeks ago or so), a plant, and a card from my wonderful husband.  Then from family I got money or gift cards.  Then that night my husband took me out to eat.  And I also found out my friend was pregnant with her first.  We always wanted to be pregnant together so I guess we are getting the chance.

Yesterday, I just straightened up the house and laid out in the sun for a bit.  Kent was cutting grass, so I decided to walk a bit and get some exercise and then I just decided to stay out there and get some sun.  After we ate supper (steaks and twice baked potatoes) we went to Wally World and got some stuff.  Then we came home and watched TV.

Today, I went to Kent's cousin's wife's baby shower.  It started at 11 and lasted until about 1.  She got a lot of cute things.  It was nice to get out of the house for a bit and just go and do something.  Once I got home I just took a short 15-20 minute nap and watched some TV.  I am fixing to go over to my parent's house and eat supper with them since Kent is at work.  So, that is what I have been up to.  Yall be good and I'll see yall later!

Well, its Wednesday.  Do we all know what that means???  Tomorrow is Thursday and that's MY BIRTHDAY!!!!!  YAY!!!!  I have no idea why I am even excited about it.  But I still can't wait!   Woohoo!!!!

Well, today I have done mostly nothing.  I did go walking with my weights for about 20 minutes.  It was a good little workout.  Hopefully, I can keep it up and continue to do it all the way through my pregnancy.  I am hoping it will make me stronger for labor and help me recover faster after it is all said and done.  We shall see!

Last night...ugh....not a good ending to my day.  I was taking my prenatal pill before going to bed like always and for whatever reason it made me sick.  I tried to talk myself out of throwing up but I lost that battle.  I thought I was done with that mess.  But I am guessing not.  So now everytime I even think about taking my prenatal vitamins I gag.  So great!  Hopefully, I will manage.  Anyway, I guess that is all I have.  I am going to go eat lunch and watch a Baby Story on TLC.  Yall be good and remember...TOMORROW IS MY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My doctor update!

2 days until my birthday!!!!!!

 

Well, I am back from the doctor.  Woohoo...  We get there and he comes in and says that everything checked out great in my blood work except my blood count was a little high.  They like for it to be around 42 and it was 50.  He said that this could be because of dehydration but he went ahead and ordered more blood work.  So, then he gets his little doppler thing out and is searching for the baby's heartbeat....nothing.....searches some more...nothing...by this time I am thinking oh crap...so he looks at me with that look of "OK, can't find it..."  So he sends for me to have an ultrasound.  So, we get in there and the lady is looking for the baby and viola there s/he is.  The heartbeat was at 162 and the baby was moving around all over the place.  I cried more at this visit then I did when we first saw the heartbeat at like 8 weeks.  It was so cute.  The tech. said that the baby must have wanted to be seen...I was like yeah.  It was sooo cute.  We saw little ribs and a little spine.  It looked so much more human.  Just too cute.  So anyway, we go back to see the doctor and he told me that I could come off progesterone if I wanted...but I am going to stay on it one pill a day for a few more days.  But he said my placenta has taken over now so it shouldn't matter.  Well, then he sent me to get blood taken for my blood count and that was about it.  I'll post pictures later...when I find time...lol

Sunny, Cloudy, Rainy Day

It's been one of those weird spring weather days.  It started out sunny and then cloudy.  I watched the weather on the news and after days and days of saying we wouldn't have rain until Friday, today they said rain for most of the week.  Just little showers here and there.  So all day it looked like it was going to rain but never did.  Finally around 4:45pm it finally rained and rained pretty hard.  So, I guess no tanning for me this week.  Which kind of stinks because I really wanted to tan some.  My legs look like white glow sticks.  It's awful.  Plus, I need to get out and exercise.  Lately, Kent and I have been eating "out" a lot.  Just because I am so lazy and just have zero energy and by the time Kent realizes that I am in no way, shape, or form going to cook its too late to lay anything out.  Plus, I am in no mood to go grocery shopping.  The thought of all that food surrounding me, honestly, makes me sick!  When I am in the mood it's late at night and there is no way I am going late at night.  Kent goes with me some, but he ends up putting all sorts of stuff in there that I won't eat.  Oh well.  Today I mostly did nothing.  But after Kent left for work, I cleaned up the house.  And now I am washing clothes.  I wanted to get all this stuff done before we go to the doctor tomorrow.  I like to have my day freed up when I go to the doctor.  Hopefully, when we go tomorrow we can get to hear the heartbeat again.  And I am going to ask about my progesterone.  Hopefully, I will be able to come off of it soon.  I'm honestly scared to, because I am scared my progesterone will drop again.  But hopefully all will go well.  Well, that is all.  I'm off to put clothes in the dryer and take a quick shower!  Yall be good and I'll talk with yall later!

I hope all the mothers out there had a great day.  Mine was great.  Even though I am not "technically" a mother yet, I am in the process of baking this bun.  So, Kent went ahead and got me a gift.  It's a white gold bracelet with a diamond in the middle.  It is so pretty!  I love it!  He did a really good job!  Today was a pretty busy day.  We went to church and then after church we went up to Kent's moma's house and ate lunch and swam.  Then Kent and I came home and then Kent went to work and I went back to my MIL's house.  It start to rain a little bit so we decided to move things down to Granny's house since there were other people coming later.  Well, we all went down there and we talked for a bit and then I headed over to my parent's house.  I gave my mom her gift and my dad showed me a tape of him parasailing(sp?).  It was pretty funny!  Then we went up to my grandmother's house and talked with her for a bit.  Then we went back to my parent's house.  After talking for a bit I decided to come home...but first I had to go to Burger King and get a whopper...yum...and then I came home.  I am home for the night!  And that was my day.  I'll talk with yall later!  I'm off to organize somethings and wash dishes!!! Florida or BUST

No, it's not me that is in Florida.....my parents are the ones who got the pleasure of going.  They left EARLY this morning, roughly around 3am, with some friends and are now in Florida.  I wish I could say that I was there too, but sadly I sit here in Alabama washing clothes...  It's good though for them to get away for the weekend and have some fun with friends.  I'm hoping they return sometime tomorrow so I can give my moma her gift.  But until then I hope they have fun in the beautiful Florida sun.

Well, today I slept way later than usual, 11am.  I must have been really tired.  I usually get up at around 9:45-10am.  But anyway, I got up and ate some breakfast and started washing clothes.  I am deciding wether to lay out or go up to my MIL's (mother-in-law) and swim.  I will probably just stay here so I can get all my cleaning done.  But I still don't know if I am going to lay out.  There is this guy that lives next door to us and he is out there shooting his shotgun...so I may just take cover in the house.  Yes I live next to some pure Alabama rednecks...  Once Kent gets home we are off to buy Mother's Day cards and to get some stuff for lunch tomorrow.  Instead of Granny cooking like she normally does, Kent's moma, aunt, and myself (in small part) are doing the lunch since it is Mother's Day.  We are just having sandwhiches...I am bringing the bread (LOL).  Personally, if you ask me, since it's going to be Mother's Day then the guys should have to do the lunch.  But that would never happen.  By the way, my wonderful and handsome husband bought me a Mother's Day present.  I don't know what it is but he got me one.  I was shocked because I didn't think he would think of me as a mother...but he does!  So sweet!  Well, I guess that is about all I have to say for now.  I guess I will talk to you later!

Fun in the sun

Well, the sun is shining...and the temp is well into the 80's...probably almost 90...whew.  I layed out yesterday and then went swimming in my mother-in-law's pool.  The temp of the water was like 73 degrees...we were told by my 13 year old sister-in-law that the water wasn't "THAT" cold.  BULL!!!!  Anyway, I got a lot of sun yesterday, so I will probably just stay in for most of the day today.  Which is fine.  I need to mop my living room and kitchen floors.  JOY, JOY!  But it needs to be done and thus I will do it....sometime.  In just a few days it will be Mother's Day...I'm so glad that I went ahead and got all the gifts.  It's one less thing to worry about.  Only thing is, is I still need to get cards.  Maybe, we can do that tonight.  I hope so...I just want to check that off my list of things to do.  I have a lot of stuff going on in the next few months...which is good.  Hopefully it will make the time pass by a bit quicker.  In May, we have a haircut for Kent today @ 5pm, a doctor's appointment for me on the 11th @ 8:45am, on the 13th...well it's my BIRTHDAY and I have an haircut @ sometime...I need to call about that and Kent has a doctor's appt that day too.  June..so far nothing.  And July, the 8th is my daddy's birthday, then vacation on the 18th-21st, and then Kent's birthday on the 28th.  Also we should find out the sex of the baby in July...WOOHOO!  I can't wait.  I will be a busy little bee...but oh well.  Well, I have rambled on enough!  I'll talk with yall later!!!!

By the way, Kent went ahead and gave me my birthday gift.  It's a digital camera (thus the reason for the belly pics) and a video camera all in one!!!  It's pretty neat...if I could just get it away from my husband...LOL.  He's cute though!

Friends was GREAT!  I cried...I blame it on my pregnant hormones...  But it was really great.  It ended perfectly!

I feel pretty...oh so pretty....

FINALLY!  I FEEL pretty!!!!  It's about time.  Lately, I haven't wanted to dress up or really even fix my hair.  Honestly, if I took a shower I felt like I actually accomplished something!  BUT NOT TODAY!!!  Today I tanned for a bit and helped Kent's granny and Kent wash Pop's (Kent's grandfather) massive truck (well, I watched and then helped dry it off), and then I came in and hopped in the shower and hopped out and looked at my body and realized how amazing it is (bare with me here).  I realized that although I still "look" fat...that "fat" is a baby growing inside of me.  I am doing something so awesome and so rewarding and that is so beautiful to me!  I may have "pregnancy acne" and my tummy may be poking out, and I may feel like a slob...but it's all for one reason...to bring a beautiful, healthy child into this world and that is just beautiful to me.  So you know what...I got out my hairdryer and fixed my hair, lotioned up my pregnant body, smiled into the mirror and then went and sat on the couch with my husband and ate pizza...well it doesn't end so romantically...but I still felt beautiful!

Mother's Day gift shopping

So, I just got back from shopping for Mother's Day gifts for my mom and Kent's mom.  It wasn't hard picking out my mom's gift cause I know what she likes.  BUT Kent's mom...whew....I didn't think I would ever find her anything.  I kept thinking...would she REALLY like this???  I picked up one thing and carried it around with me for awhile and then ended up putting it back because I just didn't know if she would like it.  So, I bought my mom's gift and left without getting Kent's mom anything.  So, as I drove I thought I would try one more place and FINALLY I found something for her!  I hope she likes it.  Now, all I have to do is get cards.  And then I am done. 

Well, today I haven't done all that much.  I was going to clean the kitchen...but...nah...I'll do it later I guess.  I did go to town for shopping and to get some gas.  And basically that is all I have done.  I still may do something between now and the time Kent gets home.  We'll see.

BABY UPDATE:  Nothing new.  I have started to gag again.  Which stinks...but it reassures me that things are still going well.  I believe I have grown an inch or so since the last time I checked.  Which is nice.  I'm still not showing though.  I can't wait to get another ultrasound.  To see how much the baby has grown.  When I go to the doctor on the 11th I may ask if I can have another ultrasound to see if the baby has grown since it was a week behind the last time I had one.  Just to put my mind at ease.  We'll see.  Well, that is all for now!  I'll talk with yall later!!!

Busy day for me!

Well, my day today was VERY busy.  My wonderful husband agreed to bleach the shower for me since I could do it but would have to have a mask and all that sort of fun stuff.  So since he is going to clean the shower I figured I would give the rest of the bathroom a good cleaning.  So, I did.  And I couldn't tell you how much better I feel now that I have my cleaning vibes back!  And on top of that...my bathroom is CLEAN!  I figure tomorrow I would tackle the kitchen...but we'll see!  I also washed 4 loads of clothes and bedding today.  The last load is in the dryer...which is such a relief!  On top of cleaning my bathroom, I swept and vacuumed.  I also ironed Kent's uniform for work tomorrow.  So, I have been quite the housewife today.  I also have planned a good little dinner for us.  Pork chops, mashed potatoes and green beans...yummy!  Besides all the cleaning and what not I walked for about 20 minutes today as well and did some light weight lifting.  Nothing too hard just enough to get my heart pumping.  So, my day has been very busy!  I still need to hop in the shower and go to Wally World...but Wally World may have to wait until tomorrow!  Well, that is all for now!  Yall be good and remember...my birthday is in 10 days!!!!!!!

So, first let me tell you...for the most part I am enjoying being pregnant.  Watching my tummy grow...feeling stretching of muscles...knowing the baby is just making room.  It's a good feeling knowing that you are housing another human inside you.  They are feeding off of your body.  They depend on me even before they really know who I am.  It's a good feeling.  A feeling that only a mother has any idea what it is like.  I can't wait to feel the baby move and I can't wait to feel the first hic-up.  BUT...this having to go to the bathroom every 30 minutes...whew...its getting to me...lol.  I enjoy it though in a small way.  It's like the baby is letting me know its there.  My breasts are sore...sometimes to the point where I think...OK...do we really have to hurt this much?!?!?!  But I know that its worth it.  And through my last two pregnancies that ended in miscarriages it a sense of relief because I have never felt before what I am feeling now.  It's a good feeling.  It's hard to explain but I know many of you know what I mean...  I love this baby more than life itself and I have never met this baby...or touched this baby...but it's MY baby.  Something that I helped make.  I never realize what a miracle babies truly are.  And I thank God for taking me through the pain and suffering just so I could truly see what miracles babies truly are...it's something I hope I never take forgranted.  I hope I love this baby beyond what I have ever dreamed...  There is already a bond that is unexplainable...I can't wait to share all the moments of pregnancy and life with this child...I just can't wait...
