A "burn" out

Well, this weekend has been crazy to say the least!!!  Saturday we go up to Kent's parent's house and watch a house burn down.  It was somewhat funny to me.  There is this old house that has been up there since the foundation of the earth....it was the house that Kent's grandfather and his siblings and parents lived in.  It's a two bedroom tiny house.  Anywho, it was falling apart so they decided to burn it down.  So a local volunteer fire department came in and it took them forever to set up.  You have to understand this fire department is made up of some hicks with a captial H.  But they were all sweet people!  Anyway, they took a picture in from of the fire truck before they started and then they start a fire in the middle of the house.  At first it didn't look like it was going to take...but once a gust of wind came through it was just a burning.  In the meantime....a policeman spots a cloud of black smoke and calls the city fire department.  So they come out and they knew the other fire fighters so it was ok.  Well, the police officer was like "well they could have told somebody".  And the vol. fire depart. did tell the city police chief!  That police officer seemed rude to me!  But it was ok.  It took the house about 45 minutes to burn completely down.  It was amazing to see the fire just roll out of the house like it did.  Well, that is all for now!  I'll chat with yall later!!!
